Welcome to Harrop Fold

At Harrop Fold, we are committed to making the difference for all our young people.  Our aim is to produce well-rounded young people who are prepared for our ever-changing world. We do this by focusing on the Personal, Social and Academic aspects of education, which will drive our young people to reach their potential and achieve true excellence.

PSHE

What will my child’s learning be like in PSHE?

Our PSHE (Personal, Social, Health Education) programmes embeds our core values of ambition, confidence, creativity, respect, enthusiasm and determination. PSHE allows our students to learn about the world around them and equips them for life outside of the classroom. Students will also learn and develop key life skills that are crucial for further education and the world of work.

Statutory RSE and health education

From September 2020, relationship and sex education (RSE) and health education will become compulsory subjects. This is taught within the PSHE curriculum. Teaching of RSE will begin at the start of the summer term 20201.
