Connexions is the advice, guidance and support service for all young people aged 13-19 (or up to 25 for people with learning difficulties or disabilities). We are here to give impartial information, advice and guidance on any issues of concern.
So whether they have questions or worries about careers, education and learning, getting a job, money, housing, health matters, or your legal rights, we can help!
Your Personal Advisers for Harrop Fold School are: Lisa Bennett and Jo Platt – Connexions
You can arrange an appointment by writing your name on the list outside the Connexions room or you can contact us on 0161 603 6850.
We are in school all day – Tuesday, Wednesday and half day Thursdays.
All students in year 11 have a number of individual meetings with an adviser.
How can Connexions Personal Advisers help?
We can help:
- By discussing option choices in year 9, year 10 and option choices for after year 11.
- To apply for jobs, apprenticeships and training places
- With job hunting, CVs, application forms and interview preparation
- By talking through more personal things such as health, home life or relationships which might be affecting you.
